As we all know, MG is a relatively rare disease – unfortunately our ticket was pulled out of 10,000.
It is difficult for people who do not have MG, or know about MG, to appreciate the difficulties we suffer – sometimes how hard it is to just put one foot in front of the other, or keep an eye lid open, or lift a book. We look OK, right?
Joining an association like MGNSW provides you with resources about MG, support with somebody at the end of a phone line (thank you Glenda Bidner) and the opportunity to eyeball others who have MG and who can sympathise with you and share their experience.
MG NSW meets every three months at the Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club in West Ryde, Sydney (117 Ryedale Road, West Ryde – across the road from West Ryde Railway Station).
You don’t have to be a member to attend – all are welcome. Joining would be appreciated – $20 per year.
